Notorious has just opened the first SCA-certified coffee training campus in Abu Dhabi. Also in Abu Dhabi, Nooran Albannay regularly hosts training sessions at Coffee Architecture. Seven Fortunes is hosting an awesome spin (see what I did there?) on a brewing competition: The Spin The Brew Throwdown. The winner will join the team on a trip to origin!
Each competitor will have a station to brew their coffee for a panel of judges. They spin a wheel that has illustrations for five different brewing gadgets plus one Judges Choice. And need to brew using the gadget that the pointer stops at. You’ll find more info here.
