At Host Milano 2025, ECM introduced the Discover espresso machine, the Exacto grinder, and the Estetika dual boiler, marking a major step forward for the brand.
This, I think, is the last in my series of articles about Host Milano. And I’ve saved the best for last. My home espresso machine has been with me for about 3 years now. In that time it has served me well. Flawlessly. It hasn’t broken down once. It’s a tank. It’s an ECM.
At Host Milano 2025, ECM introduced three new products that I think define the next chapter of its engineering story. The lineup includes the ECM Discover dual boiler espresso machine for cafés, the ECM Exacto grind by weight grinder, and the ECM Estetika dual boiler espresso machine for home brewers.
Together, they show how ECM continues to design machines that last, perform, and inspire confidence.
ECM Discover espresso machine at Host Milano 2025
The ECM Discover espresso machine is the company’s first dual boiler model made for commercial use. It features stainless steel boilers with a six liter steam capacity and a 0.75 liter coffee boiler. The new Triple Temperature Control system (3C Temp) maintains precision through every extraction.
Each group head includes a PID for temperature adjustment, allowing baristas to fine-tune profiles for different coffees. The Discover also offers programmable dosing, a shot observer, rotary pump, OLED display, and quick steam valves.
In cafés that need consistent quality and speed, the Discover brings ECM’s reputation for durability into professional settings. The ECM Discover Exacto Estetika Host Milano 2025 lineup reflects the company’s engineering discipline.

ECM Exacto grinder at Host Milano 2025
The ECM Exacto grinder, the brand’s first grind by weight model. It uses 64 millimeter flat burrs and a 400 watt motor that grinds 18 grams in about six seconds. The Exacto operates quietly, with a touchscreen display that shows grind size and weight clearly.
Users can switch between three modes: grind by weight, grind by time, or manual. This versatility suits both café environments and advanced home setups.
The Exacto demonstrates how ECM transfers its attention to detail from machines to grinders, ensuring accuracy and consistency at every step.

ECM Estetika espresso machine for home brewers
The ECM Estetika completes the lineup. It is a dual boiler espresso machine designed for serious home brewers. It can also operate as a single boiler when efficiency matters. The Estetika includes a heated brew group, programmable volumetric buttons and quick steam valves.
Its active and passive preinfusion options help users experiment with extraction. The design feels familiar to anyone who has used a Mechanika or Technika, but refined and more capable.
The Estetika is proof that ECM still builds for home brewers who value quality and control.

ECM at Host Milano 2025
My impression of the ECM booth at Host Milano 2025, was that, while many brands filled their spaces with bright lights and noise, ECM let its machines speak quietly. And confidently. Through craftsmanship.
This new collection, the Discover, Exacto and Estetika, shows how the company connects its home legacy with its commercial future. ECM continues to balance precision engineering with practical design, offering tools that help both professionals and home brewers make great coffee every day.
As I left the booth, I thought again about my own Mechanika Max. How it deserves for me to use it more than I do. And how ECM remains one of the most trusted names in espresso.
Some companies chase attention. ECM keeps building excellence, one machine at a time.
