The People’s Choice Coffee Awards celebrates the world’s favourite specialty coffee shops through a public vote.

There are no judges, no industry panels and no complicated scoring systems. Instead, these awards ask coffee lovers to recognise the coffee shops they genuinely enjoy visiting.

Every valid vote carries equal value. Once voting closes, the coffee shop with the most votes wins.

The process is simple.

Step 1: Vote

The first step is choosing the coffee shop you believe deserves recognition.

Whether it’s your local neighbourhood café, a destination coffee shop or somewhere you’ve discovered while travelling, every vote begins with a genuine recommendation from a customer.

We encourage you to vote for the coffee shop you would confidently recommend to family, friends and fellow coffee lovers.

Step 2: We count every vote

Once voting opens, coffee lovers from around the world can vote for their favourite coffee shop.

Every valid vote counts equally.

To protect the integrity of the People’s Choice Coffee Awards, we review submissions and remove duplicate, automated or suspicious votes before confirming the final results.

Our goal is simple: every genuine customer should have an equal voice.

Step 3: We announce the winner

When voting closes, we total every valid vote.

The coffee shop with the highest number of valid votes becomes the People’s Choice Coffee Awards winner.

The results are published by FLTR Magazine and shared across our social media channels so coffee lovers everywhere can discover the winning coffee shops.

Why we use public voting

Many coffee awards recognise technical excellence through professional judging. The People’s Choice Coffee Awards recognises something different.

We celebrate the coffee shops customers genuinely love returning to.

That means every vote reflects real experiences, whether people value outstanding coffee, exceptional hospitality, consistency, atmosphere or the sense of community a café creates.

Together, those qualities define the coffee shops people remember long after they’ve finished their coffee.

Who can vote?

Anyone can vote.

You do not need to work in coffee or have professional experience.

If you’ve visited a coffee shop and believe it deserves recognition, your opinion matters.

What happens after voting closes?

After voting closes, we verify the results before announcing the winners.

The winning coffee shops are featured on FLTR Magazine, promoted across our social media channels and recognised as winners of the People’s Choice Coffee Awards.

Ready to vote?

Now that you know how the People’s Choice Coffee Awards works, it’s time to support your favourite coffee shop.
